HEMOGLOBIN DEVICE

The hemoglobin A1c test (Hba1c test, also known as glycated hemoglobin test) can be used to identify the average level of blood glucose concentration over the past 3 months.

Description

Hemoglobin is a protein within red blood cells whose lifespan is about 120 days. When glucose builds up in your blood, it binds to hemoglobin to become HbA1c. HbA1c test has been widely used for both diagnosing and monitoring diabetes. HbA1c test can give clinicians an overall picture of your long-term blood glucose control and predict the risk of complications associated with diabetes. It should be arranged by your doctor every 3 to 6 months. NeoMedica NW-37 protein analyzer uses borate affinity chromatography principle to measure glycated hemoglobin from only 5µl of blood sample taken from a finger prick or venous whole blood. The results are available in less than 7 seconds, and the entire testing process can be performed in less than 3 minutes. The results are issued in NGSP%, IFCC, mmol/l and EAG. The calibration RF card is included in each test kit with pre-recorded LOT calibration curve.
